Environmental Health Specialist
Regional Utilities Service Systems (RUSS) has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Environmental Health Specialist. Under immediate to general supervision, the Environmental Health Specialist will assist in the implementation and administering of regulations and RUSS requirements. This person will attend and participate in meetings in order to stay abreast of regulatory changes, impacts, and construction practices. This position will also assist with fulfilling contract duties as Environmental Health Specialist which include but not limited to: enforcing environmental health regulations, and County ordinances according to State and County standards. This position will require you to collect, compile and interpret various data relative to environmental health and provide monthly updates to the Counties Board of Health and RUSS Director as needed. $16.00-18.00hr dependent on experience and qualifications.
Desired qualification: Graduate from accredited two (2) year college or university program in an environmental health or sciences field, or, high School graduate with a minimum of two (2) year’s work experience in one or more of the fields of environmental health.
